I have spent a lifetime in the media starting at Melbourne Radio Station 3DB in January 1964 and 46 years on I am involved with Radio 6PR in Perth.

In between I have worked at radio stations in Hobart, Newcastle and Brisbane in various roles including presenter, journalist and news director.

I also spent ten years at Channel Seven in Perth, much of the time as sports editor, which included presenting the sports segment in the evening news.

I have also worked at Channel Ten in Perth as a news and sports journalist and established the news and sports division of the Aboriginal radio station 6AR in Perth.

The communications skills I have honed in the media have made me a great listener. Thus I can quickly grasp what intending couples require for their wedding and so can translate that into a ceremony that is truly a reflection of the couple and how they want their very special day to unfold.
