Namings

Naming ceremonies are designed to provide a secular alternative to baptisms or christenings.

It’s the appropriate non-religious way to gather family and friends together to celebrate the arrival of a child and welcome him or her into the community.

Although this is a non-legal ceremony you can still use the occasion to appoint Godparents and others whom you believe can play a role in helping guide your child to adulthood.

The ceremony can include whatever you want – together we will create a format suitable for this very special occasion.

You will receive a bound copy of the ceremony and a Naming Certificate for the guest of honour.
